Then, something similar happens in ST6 (the movie where Kirk and Spock
are explicitly co-captains).
I'm not talking about this:
http://allyourtrekarebelongto.us/chekovsaw.html
I'm talking about later, when Jim visits Spock after hours... after
Spock obviously has retired for the night... and Jim apparently stays
alllllll night.

If it were a woman, I know what you all would think, and I know why.
Ask yourselves: why is it different when it's a man?

Or simply meditating.

Did Paramount hide an easteregg on the dvd that 'reveals' this tidbit? I
thought not. Someone is seeing things that aren't there again.

It's not. But since that's not what happened in ST6 the question is moot.
And before this goes any further:

Nothing in the scene suggests what *you* see nor does the commentary track.
Your agenda is showing again.

Here's the whole line:
SPOCK: You are my commanding officer. You are also my friend. I have been
and always shall be yours.

It was arround 1600 when Kirk was in Spock's cabin. The work day ends at
1600 in today's navy, and even at sea. Persons not on watch "clean into
night clothing" soon after. It would be logical to assume Starfleet follows
this naval tradition as it follows others (piping Kirk aboard for instance)
So there is nothing unusual about Spock being in his meditation robes, like
he wore on Vulcan, even "in the middle of the day." "Jammies" is only
Laura's wishful thinking, and selective information usage.

Didn't you know, Laura's *always* the victim.
Albeit a passive aggressive one.

Human Nature
By Madonna
Spoken:)
Express yourself, don't repress yourself (repeat 5 times)
Chorus:
And I'm not sorry [I'm not sorry]
It's human nature [it's human nature]
And I'm not sorry [I'm not sorry]
I'm not your bitch don't hang your shit on me[ Its human nature]
You wouldn't let me say the words I longed to say
You didn't want to see life through my eyes
[Express yourself, don't repress yourself]
You tried to shove me back inside your narrow room
And silence me with bitterness and lies
[Express yourself, don't repress yourself]
Did I say something wrong?
Oops, I didn't know I couldn't talk about sex
[I musta been crazy]
Did I stay too long?
Oops, I didn't know I couldn't speak my mind
[What was I thinking]
(chorus)
You punished me for telling you my fantasies
I'm breakin' all the rules I didn't make
[Express yourself, don't repress yourself]
You took my words and made a trap for silly fools
You held me down and tried to make me break
[Express yourself, don't repress yourself]
Bridge:
Did I say something true?
Oops, I didn't know I couldn't talk about sex
[I musta been crazy]
Did I have a point of view?
Oops, I didn't know I couldn't talk about you
[What was I thinking]
(chorus)
Express yourself, don't repress yourself (repeat twice)
Express yourself, don't repress yourself (repeat twice)
(bridge)
(chorus)
(chorus, with the following spoken substitutions)
[I'm not apologizing]
[Would it sound better if I were a man?]
[You're the one with the problem]
[Why don't you just deal with it]
(chorus, with the following spoken substitutions)
[Would you like me better if I was?]
[We all feel the same way]
[I have no regrets]
[Just look in the mirror]
(chorus, with the following spoken substitutions)
[I don't have to justify anything]
[I'm just like you]
[Why should I be?]
[Deal with it]
